Kyra Gore, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Gore was born in New Jersey and grew up in Georgia. She attended University of Georgia to complete her dual Bachelor of Science in Biological Science and Animal Science with emphasis in animal biology. She studied abroad at St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada. She finished her clinical year at Texas A&M which she officially moved to Texas. After graduation in 2022, she worked at a clinic in Round Rock and did relief shifts for various North Austin hospitals before joining ZippiVet.
Dr. Gore enjoys dermatology, dentistry, preventive care medicine, soft tissue surgeries, exotic medicine and acupuncture. She is finishing her acupuncture certification and working on finding mentorship in exotic medicine for future career development. She is Free Fear certified and a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
She currently has 2 dogs, Zoro (Siberian Husky) and Hiei (Dalmatian), and 3 cats, Haku (Bengal), Kovu (Tonkinese) and Azula (Ragdoll), who live peacefully together telling on each other when the household rules are broken. In her free time, Dr. Gore enjoys exploring the outdoors with her animals, in training for dog sports and video games. She hopes to compete in dog sports in the near future with her two dogs.
